Big M.U.T.

The Big Multi Use Tote is a larger version of our original M.U.T. bag. We designed it to work with over-sized cargo cages and have used them successfully with any and all of them.  They also work well strapped under a saddle and just about anywhere you can strap it, we've even strapped them onto the front of handlebars with success. 

Constructed from 10.10 oz waxed canvas and bright Dyneema lining for extra durability. An insulated layer of foam wraps around the entire bag to protect your load. Two bartacked nylon webbing strips run down the front to give adjustability for mounting to various cages.

• Multiple loops on front for mounting
• Two 1" x 22" Total Hook straps included (other 3/4"-1" straps will also work to fasten your load)

FAQ's 

Are these bags waterproof? 

In a word, no, but our waxed canvas is impregnated with Martexin wax at it's inception and with it's nice tight weave, paired with the bag's Diamond Ripstop lining we have full confidence hauling our water sensitive camera gear around in the rains of the Pacific Northwest.  That said, if you plan to float your fully loaded fat bike across the slough, we'd bundle those sensitive bits in something air tight. 

Can I rewax?

Yes, we recommend either Martexin wax or Otter Wax, but there are other options.  Also, hit up the Google with 'How to rewax waxed canvas' and there are tutorials on how to do it; wax and heat is the gist of it.  Not too difficult and it brings that lustre finish back.
