Linen

Linen is an ideal fabric for warm to hot and humid weather.  It absorbs perspiration and, similar to wool, linen is also odor resistant making it a perfect choice for summer touring. At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces and with its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy. 

Made with our classic four panel proportions. Our brims are slightly wider than standard cycling caps giving you a bit more protection from the elements.

SIZING INFO: Custom Cap Sizing: Everyone’s head is a different size and not everyone will fit comfortably within our sizing. If you are one of these people, let us know! Cap too small? Randi can let out the elastic to make it roomier. Cap too big? Randi can tighten the elastic for a snugger fit. Just include your needs in the notes section when ordering. If you really are unsure, email us!

BRIMS:
We use two different sized brims.  Our Small & Medium, which is 7.25" wide by 1.75" deep (at center).  And our Large & XL, which is 8.25" wide by 2.25" deep (at center).  If you have a preference we cap swap them around for you.

CARE:  We recommend rinsing your linen cap after getting it sweaty as the salts inherent in our bodies will leech the dye out of the fabric causing discoloration.  Best to hand wash with cool water and a mild soap, hang dry (no dryer).  We machine wash ours on a gentle cycle, but the brim can get misshapen, if that happens an iron will help flatten it.

Current production time is approximately 5 weeks. All items are made to order from raw materials by our 4 person family Crew (Randi, Joan, Cassandra and Eric). If you need your order by a specific date please let us know.
